My Life
I am an actor who was born and raised and is still currently based in Utah. After discovering the excitement of acting at the ripe old age of 8, I decided to jump head first into the practice when I was in high school. I have continued on to graduate Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in Acting from Utah Valley University, where I received the Dean’s award of Merit.
I didn’t always plan to be an actor. In my younger years I had full intention on pursuing a career in athletics: specifically soccer. I played and I was good — or at least I was by a young teen’s standards — and I had the drive to continue progressing. After an unfortunate series of concussions that dream came to an end. But when one door closes, another opens: and my door was the arts.
Outside of acting, I am an avid dungeons and dragons player, a lover of all puzzles — particularly sudoku — and like to spend quality time with my friends and family.
My Work
I have been described as present, witty, and grounded. I am known for my commitment to preparation. I play a range of characters, but most fall under the umbrella of stressed, anxious, and trying to maintain some sense of control.
I enjoy playing within the realm of sarcasm and comedy, as well as the nitty gritty reality of drama. I have a special place in my heart for classical work, particularly Shakespeare.
